2019-20 Annual General Meeting Roundup
On Tuesday October 20th, the Haliburton Highlands Arts Centre Foundation held its inaugural AGM online, via Zoom. Twenty people were in attendance, including members of the local press. A brief history of the HHACF was given, along with details of the foundation’s activities in the fiscal year ending July 31st, 2020. President, Dan Manley, spoke of goals for 2020 and secretary, Wil Andrea, presented financial reports. Finally, a general Q&A session fielded questions from attendees.
The AGM attendees also acclaimed two new board members — Tammy Rea and Beth Kipping. The HHACF is thrilled to welcome them and all of the skills and expertise they will bring to the board. Fiscal year 2020-21 is shaping up to be an exciting and busy year for the organization.
Special thanks to Ted Brandon, for hosting and recording the meeting and seamless document sharing, and to Lisa Gervais for her coverage of the AGM in the The Highlander newspaper.
